Dantewada. Major action has been taken in the case of manipulation of answer sheets in the skill test conducted for appointment to the posts of Assistant Grade-03 and Stenographer in the Family Court of South Bastar Dantewada. Police have arrested five people in the case.
This matter came to light when irregularities were found during the scrutiny of answer sheets of the candidates after the skill test held on 14 September 2024. Investigation found that the candidates of Assistant Grade-03 were (1) Deepak Kumar Dewangan, (2) Ms. Preeti Netam, (3) Ms. Savitri Alendra and Stenographer post candidate Vinod Kumar along with unknown persons made illegal changes in the answer sheets and forged signatures. The candidature of these candidates was canceled immediately.
Considering the seriousness of this irregularity, the selection committee conducted an internal inquiry and lodged a complaint with the police station for detailed investigation of the matter. Police have registered section 61, 318, 334, 336, 338, 340 BNS in the case. Registered and taken into consideration. Everyone was arrested in that case. This includes District Court Reader Punam Chand Yadav, Chowkidar Ganesh Ram Markam and three candidates. All the accused have confessed to the crime and have been sent on judicial remand.
