Family Tragically Attacked Over Peanut Harvesting in Surajpur, Chhattisgarh

The incident occurred in the Tivragudi village of Ramanujnagar police station area in Surajpur district. The deceased, Triveni Ravi (41 years old) and his elder son Raja Babu (21 years old), were attacked after a disagreement over peanuts. The younger son, Karan Ravi (16 years old), is in critical condition. Reports indicate that a pre-existing conflict between the two families played a role in the escalation. The disagreement arose when Karan Ravi was reportedly found eating peanuts from a field belonging to their relatives. Following an initial altercation, the situation turned violent when the father and elder brother tried to intervene, and they were subsequently attacked.
