Raipur. Fast EV charging stations will be installed in 10 parking areas of the capital. This will be convenient for e-vehicle drivers. Charging stations will be installed with the cooperation of Tata and Ather Power Company. In this regard, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Abinash Mishra inspected the proposed fast EV charging station site along with Executive Engineer Imran Khan. Here, work is being done at a fast pace on the fast EV charging station with the cooperation of PSU Public Sector Undertaking Indian Oil Corporation on PPP mode.
Let us tell you that at present, Fast 4 Wheeler EV Charging Station is being operated at 4 places in the capital, Municipal Corporation Headquarters Building Parking Space, Inter-State Bus Stand Bhatgaon, Multi-Level Parking in front of Collectorate, Old Bus Stand Multi-Level Parking near Jayastambh Chowk.
Municipal Corporation Executive Engineer Imran Khan said that 378.83 units of electricity were consumed in 4 EV charging stations in April. Electricity consumption was 701.24 units in May and 1050.10 units in June. Thus, 1369 units of electricity were consumed in July. A total of 3499.17 units of electricity were consumed in 4 months, the Municipal Corporation received income from this at the rate of 10.50 paise per unit.
