Fatal Accident in Balod: Truck Driver and Helper Perish in Tanker Crash

A devastating collision between a truck and a tanker in Chhattisgarh’s Balod district claimed the lives of the truck driver and his helper. The accident took place near a rice mill in the Purur police station jurisdiction, where the truck was parked, preparing to be loaded with husks. The truck driver, Shailendra Thakur, and helper, Budhlal Dhimar, were fatally injured when the tanker crashed into the truck. Three others present at the scene were also injured. Authorities have initiated legal proceedings against the tanker driver and are investigating the circumstances of the crash.
