A devastating road accident in Dausa claimed the lives of eleven devotees who were on their way back after visiting the Khatu Shyam temple. The accident involved a pickup truck and a container truck. The collision resulted in the deaths of seven children and four adults. Several others sustained injuries and were referred to SMS Hospital in Jaipur. All the victims were from Etah, Uttar Pradesh.
