Udaipur. The final match of ‘PEKB Cricket Champions Trophy’ was played between Fatehpur and Bassen on Wednesday at Salhi Sports Ground. Fatehpur performed brilliantly in this thrilling final and became the champion of PEKB Cricket Trophy by defeating Basen by 56 runs. It is noteworthy that the inauguration of the inter-rural ‘PEKB Cricket Trophy’, courtesy of Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (RRVUNL) in Udaipur block of Surguja district, started on October 14 at Salhi Ground with the beats of the famous Karma dance of the area. A total of 16 teams from nearby villages participated in the cricket tournament organized with the aim of developing interest in sports and highlighting hidden talents in the villages of the region.
