The Food Safety Department is actively working to curb the sale of adulterated food items before the festive season. As part of this effort, a team raided the popular Haldiram’s restaurant in Shankar Nagar on Monday. Samples of sweets were collected and sent for laboratory analysis. Prior to this, the department had also targeted Sweet Hut & Bakers in the Telibandha area, collecting samples of food items for testing. The department’s campaign, titled ‘Bane Khabo-Bane Rahibo,’ aims to ensure the safety of food products.
