Patriotism and love for the country is visible in children and the elderly. Patriotic songs and enthusiasm for hoisting the tricolor were seen everywhere since morning. From villages to cities, people are hoisting the flag and saluting the tricolor.
A flag hoisting program was also organized in Takhatpur police station. On this occasion, police station in-charge Devesh Singh Rathore hoisted the flag and congratulated the people of the area on the 78th Independence Day. He paid homage to the martyrs and remembered all the freedom fighters and appealed to the people of the area to maintain a peaceful and brotherly atmosphere in Takhatpur. Along with this, he assured the people that the police is always deployed to protect them. Along with this, flag hoisting was also done in government and other offices of the city.

At the same time, 85-year-old Ramkishan Semar hoisted the flag in the city’s Bada Bazar Ward No. 13. He told people about the contribution of brave soldiers behind the independence movement and that thousands of brave soldiers sacrificed their lives to get freedom for India. By remembering the martyrdom of such brave warriors on this day, the young generation is told how much we had to struggle to get independence.
The entire state reverberated with slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai… Jai Hind in honour of the tricolour! In this way Independence Day was celebrated with great joy.
