Panic ensued after authorities received a bomb threat targeting the Chhattisgarh Sampark Kranti, traveling from Hazrat Nizamuddin to Durg. The alert came from the Delhi control room, where an anonymous caller reported the presence of a bomb on the train. In response, the GRP, RPF, and bomb disposal squads converged on Jhansi station, transforming the area into a security zone. The train was emptied as soon as it arrived. During the search, three unclaimed compartments were found in coach B-1, but they yielded no suspicious materials. Police questioned the coach assistant. The SP City, Gyanendra Singh, confirmed that nothing objectionable was found during the search. After an hour-long investigation, the train was cleared for departure at 12:30 AM. All passengers were removed from the train as police searched the coaches. Platforms 2 and 3 were vacated, and all the stalls were closed. The bomb disposal squad examined the compartments but found no threats. The train was allowed to continue its journey once authorities were satisfied with the search.
