Korba Incident: Boyfriend Receives Life Sentence for Heinous Murder

The tragic incident occurred on December 24, 2022. The girlfriend, 20, had started communicating with another man, which led to conflict with her boyfriend. Despite his objections, she continued the communication, leading to the bus conductor’s rage and the plot to eliminate her. Sahban Khan, a resident of Gujarat and a conductor for the Chisti bus service, which operated from Korba to Jaipur, was the perpetrator. The victim, who was studying in the Madanpur area, became acquainted with the conductor, and their relationship developed into love. The accused, enraged by the girlfriend’s actions, flew from Ahmedabad to Raipur, then proceeded to Korba where he committed the crime.
