The surrendered Naxalites include the PPCM platoon no. 12 commander with a reward of Rs. 8 lakh on his head, a party member of platoon no. 2 with a reward of Rs. 2 lakh on his head, Jantana Sarkar president with a reward of Rs. 1 lakh and 3 Naxalites with a reward of Rs. 11 lakh on their heads. A total of 8 Maoists have been included among them.

The Naxalites have surrendered due to the discrimination policy of the Maoists, neglect, being upset with the lifestyle and ideology of the Maoists and being influenced by the surrender and rehabilitation policy of the Chhattisgarh government and the Niyyad Nella Nar scheme being run by the Chhattisgarh government.
