The 20th installment of the Mahtari Vandan Yojana will be released on October 4th by Union Home Minister Amit Shah during a visit to Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, coinciding with the Bastar Dussehra and Muriya Darbar celebrations. The distribution will involve the transfer of 606.94 crore rupees into the bank accounts of eligible women. This installment will benefit 64,94,768 women. The Mahtari Vandan Yojana, launched by the Chhattisgarh government on March 1, 2024, provides financial assistance to married women aged 21 and above, with each receiving 1,000 rupees monthly. A total of 19 installments have already been disbursed, totaling 12,376.19 crore rupees. The upcoming distribution by Amit Shah will push the total amount disbursed to over 12,983.13 crore rupees.
