The incident occurred in the Pandri village of the Raghunathnagar police station area. The nephew is reported to have given his uncle alcohol before attacking him with a hatchet. The uncle died as a result of the attack. Following the murder, the nephew buried the body. Police responded to the scene and exhumed the body for a post-mortem examination. The nephew has been arrested.
