The girlfriend’s phone call came with a simple request: “Hello! Drop me home. I have too much stuff.” Her boyfriend readily agreed, unaware of the sinister plot that awaited. He picked her up, but his mind was occupied with a different plan. He rode the motorcycle towards a forest. When she asked where they were going, he instructed her to get off.
She complied without hesitation. Suddenly, two of his friends emerged. The three men dragged the woman deeper into the forest and took turns raping her. Despite her desperate pleas, the attackers did not stop. She tearfully threatened to inform the police, promising to have them jailed. Infuriated, they beat her severely before strangling her.
Her body was then placed in a sack, securely tied, and discarded in a water-filled drain. This horrifying event took place in Korba, Chhattisgarh. The family grew increasingly worried when she failed to return home. Three days later, they reported her missing to the local police. The police initiated an investigation, treating the case with utmost seriousness.
