Minor Missing After Being Swept Away at Dam Crossing

A search and rescue operation is underway in Janjgir-Champa after a teenager was swept away while crossing an anicut. The incident took place at the Dhabadih Tangar Dam near Kosir Gram Panchayat in the Pamgarh area this morning. The Pamgarh police responded to the scene after receiving reports. Despite initial searches by local villagers, the child has not been located. An SDRF team has been summoned to assist in the search efforts, and a large crowd is present at the location. The child’s bicycle and footwear were left behind on the anicut. Authorities are continuing the search.
