Inspector Neelkishore Awasthi, who is assigned to the Governor’s security detail, was promoted to the position of Deputy Superintendent of Police. A star ceremony took place at Raj Bhavan to mark the occasion. Governor R. Deka personally pinned the DSP rank on Awasthi.
