Kerala’s Onam festival saw unprecedented levels of alcohol consumption, with sales surpassing 800 crore rupees. Data released by the Kerala State Beverages Corporation (KSBC) revealed that sales from August 25th to September 4th reached 826.38 crore rupees. This represents a significant increase compared to the same period during the previous year’s Onam celebrations, which saw sales of 776.82 crore rupees.
