The Chhattisgarh Pavilion at the Osaka World Expo 2025 saw a large number of visitors on its opening day. The pavilion showcased the state’s rich heritage, industries, and tourism potential to over 22,000 attendees. Chhattisgarh is participating in the expo under the Indian Pavilion from August 24 to 30, 2025, following an invitation from the Indian Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO). The pavilion’s inauguration was a significant event, with the Chitrakote Falls, known as the ‘Niagara of India,’ being a major highlight.
The pavilion’s design aims to provide an immersive experience, highlighting Chhattisgarh’s cultural, industrial, and tourism aspects. It offers a glimpse into the state’s developmental progress and future prospects for a global audience. Naya Raipur, the first Greenfield smart city in India, which has been developed with an emphasis on investment and industrial growth, was a key attraction.
