Pendra Administration Cracks Down on Housing Scheme Irregularities

Following reports of mismanagement in the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana within the Pendra development block, the district administration has initiated disciplinary measures. Secretary Rajkumar Sharma of Tendumuda Gram Panchayat has been suspended for his alleged negligence and lack of attention to the scheme. The employment assistant from the same panchayat, Jyoti Kashyap, has received a show cause notice. In addition, orders have been issued for the immediate transfer of the secretary of Thadpathra Gram Panchayat. This action was taken based on the directives of District Panchayat CEO Surendra Prasad Vaidh. He emphasized that any form of negligence in government initiatives is unacceptable and warned that strict action will be taken against individuals hindering the progress of critical schemes like the PMAY.
