Pendra Administration Cracks Down on Negligence in Housing Scheme Implementation

In response to issues in the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in the Pendra development block, the district administration has initiated disciplinary measures. Secretary Rajkumar Sharma of Tendumuda Gram Panchayat has been suspended for his negligence and lack of attention to duty. The employment assistant of the same panchayat, Jyoti Kashyap, has received a show cause notice. The secretary of Thadpathra Gram Panchayat is being transferred immediately. This action follows directives from District Panchayat CEO Surendra Prasad Vaid, who has emphasized a zero-tolerance policy for negligence in government initiatives. He has cautioned all panchayat employees that strong action will be taken against those who hinder the progress of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. This has prompted other panchayats to ensure timely and transparent implementation of the housing schemes.
