PM Awas Yojana: Pendra Administration Cracks Down on Negligence

The Pendra district administration has initiated strong measures due to lapses in the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana within the Pendra development block. Secretary Rajkumar Sharma of Tendumuda Gram Panchayat has been suspended for his negligence and lack of attention to duty. Employment assistant Jyoti Kashyap, also from the same panchayat, has been issued a show cause notice. Moreover, the secretary of Thadpathra Gram Panchayat has been ordered to be transferred immediately. These actions are a direct result of the directives issued by Zilla Panchayat CEO Surendra Prasad Vaidh, who has emphasized that negligence in government schemes will not be accepted. All panchayat employees have been cautioned that rigorous action will be taken against those who impede the PM Awas Yojana. The administration’s firm stance has created a buzz among the panchayats, and other panchayats have been instructed to execute schemes with promptness and transparency.
