On the occasion of Chhattisgarh’s silver jubilee, Prime Minister Narendra Modi graced Nava Raipur to inaugurate a series of impactful development projects. His address to a jubilant crowd underscored the state’s remarkable journey of progress over the past quarter-century. Key achievements highlighted included the extension of electricity and internet connectivity to every village, a significant expansion of the rural road network to 40,000 km, and the successful distribution of Ujjwala gas connections to countless families. A major highlight of the visit was the inauguration of 3.51 lakh new houses, alongside the release of Rs 1,200 crore for beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Gramin), ensuring dignified living conditions for many. The Prime Minister also inaugurated new administrative buildings, including the solar-powered Vidhansabha, and paid tribute to freedom fighters with the opening of a dedicated museum. These initiatives represent a substantial investment of over Rs 14,260 crore, aimed at fostering economic growth and improving the quality of life for all residents.
