PM SuryaGhar Scheme Strengthens Energy Self-Reliance – Chief Minister Shri Sai
Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai wished National Energy Conservation Day
Raipur, December 13, 2025 / Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai, while extending wishes to the people of the state on the occasion of National Energy Conservation Day (December 14), said that energy conservation is essential for sustainable development, environmental balance and a secure future for future generations. Prudent, responsible and efficient use of energy not only aids the conservation of natural resources but also serves as an effective means to tackle global challenges such as climate change.
Chief Minister Sai stated that the PM SuryaGhar Scheme, run by the central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is an important initiative to bring clean and renewable energy to the people. This scheme encourages solar energy at the domestic level, thereby reducing electricity expenditures and strengthening energy self-reliance.
Chief Minister appealed to the people of the state to make energy saving an integral part of their daily lifestyle, use energy-efficient appliances more, and through small collective efforts contribute actively to making Chhattisgarh a green, clean and developed state.
