The Pendra district administration has initiated stringent measures in response to lapses in the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Secretary Rajkumar Sharma of Tendumuda Gram Panchayat has been suspended for his negligence and lack of diligence. Simultaneously, a show-cause notice has been served to Jyoti Kashyap, the employment assistant from the same panchayat. Directives have also been issued to relocate the secretary of Thadpathra Gram Panchayat with immediate effect. This action was taken under the guidance of District Panchayat CEO Surendra Prasad Vaid, who has made it clear that any form of negligence in government schemes will not be accepted. He has cautioned all panchayat staff, emphasizing that stringent action will be taken against anyone obstructing the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, a vital initiative. The administration’s firm stance has created a sense of urgency within the panchayats, with the remaining panchayats being instructed to execute the schemes promptly and transparently.
