A prostitution ring operating in the Professor Colony area of Raipur has been busted by the police, resulting in the arrest of two men and a woman. The arrests followed a raid conducted by the Anti-Crime and Cyber Unit based on information about immoral activities at a specific property. During the raid, Akash Sahu, his female partner, and another woman were apprehended. It was determined that Sahu and his associate were engaged in sex trafficking, involving a female victim who was being forced into prostitution. Subsequent investigations led to the arrest of Krishanu Das, a spa owner who allegedly used his establishments to facilitate the illicit activities. Authorities seized mobile phones containing evidence of communication and financial dealings related to the sex racket. The arrested individuals face charges under the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act of 1956, and the search for other accomplices is ongoing.
