A 38-year-old man undergoing treatment for rabies at the MCH Hospital in Raipur has died by suicide after jumping from the third floor. The deceased, Santosh Dhruv, a resident of Pandariya village in Bilaspur district, was admitted to the hospital on July 21st. He was receiving treatment for rabies in an isolation ward located on the third floor. The incident has caused considerable concern and consternation within the hospital. There are allegations that the MCH administration is trying to downplay the situation. Furthermore, the family of the deceased are reportedly struggling due to the absence of a post-mortem examination.
