The Kharsia police in Raigarh are investigating the deaths of four family members in Thusekela village, who were found buried in their backyard. The case has captured the attention of the authorities due to its brutality and the circumstances surrounding the deaths. The investigation has revealed that a neighbor, Lokeshwar Patel, is the prime suspect and has been taken into custody. Patel, who has a criminal history and was previously incarcerated in Uttar Pradesh for a murder conviction, is now implicated in the murders of Budhram Sidar, his wife, daughter, and son. The police believe that the motive behind the killings was rooted in a long-standing land dispute and personal grievances. It is known that the deceased had lodged a complaint against Patel’s son, and Patel himself faced accusations of attempting to seize the deceased’s land and stealing their crops. The police are focusing on these details as they continue to examine the case and establish the precise sequence of events leading to the tragic outcome.
