Raigarh has set an exemplary standard by completing the construction of over 20,000 houses in 2024-25, a feat achieved through a focused, mission-driven approach.
The core goal of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is to provide every citizen with a secure and permanent home. Raigarh district administration has shown unwavering commitment to achieving this objective. Under the guidance of Collector Shri Mayank Chaturvedi and the consistent oversight of District Panchayat’s Chief Executive Officer, Shri Jitendra Yadav, the project has been executed with remarkable efficiency. To date, 20,067 houses have been constructed, offering refuge to families who endured years in unsafe dwellings. During 2024-25, the district approved 52,226 houses, with geo-tagging of the plinth level completed for 40,152 homes. Furthermore, 38,446 beneficiaries have received their second installment, which has ensured continuous construction and timely project completion. CEO Shri Jitendra Yadav highlighted the importance of regular field visits, continuous communication with beneficiaries, and swift problem resolution in achieving these outcomes.
