The National Supercross Bike Racing Championship has officially begun in Raipur, with Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai leading the charge. Donning a helmet, the Chief Minister rode a motorcycle at Budhapara Stadium, signaling the start of the competition and drawing enthusiastic cheers from the predominantly young crowd. This significant event is a highlight of Chhattisgarh’s Silver Jubilee Year festivities. Chief Minister Sai took to social media to share his message, encouraging all two-wheeler riders to prioritize safety by wearing helmets and obeying traffic laws. He stressed the importance of guiding youthful energy into positive avenues and providing them with suitable platforms. The championship, scheduled for November 8-9, seeks to cultivate discipline, responsibility, and a strong safety culture among aspiring racers. The President of the Chhattisgarh Motor Sports Association, Ujjwal Deepak, echoed these sentiments, stating the event champions ‘responsible enthusiasm.’ The introduction of a purpose-built safe racing circuit further cements Chhattisgarh’s position in the national motorsports landscape, emphasizing the critical balance between speed and safety.
