Raipur Hosts Spectacular Vijaya Dashami Event; Governor and CM Participate

The capital city of Raipur witnessed a spectacular Vijaya Dashami celebration at the WRS Colony grounds. Chhattisgarh’s Governor Ramen Deka and Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai attended the event. The celebration drew a massive crowd who enjoyed the dramatic burning of Ravana and the impressive fireworks display. Governor Ramen Deka reflected on the significance of Vijaya Dashami, emphasizing the importance of self-reflection. He called upon everyone to commit to overcoming their inner demons and contribute to the advancement of society and the country. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, speaking to the assembled people, stated that the Dussehra festival conveys the message of triumph of dharma over adharma, truth over untruth, and good over evil. He motivated all to forsake negative thoughts and follow the path of righteousness. The event was also attended by Agriculture Minister Ramvichar Netam, MLA Purandar Mishra, along with numerous other public figures, committee members, and worshippers.
