Regarding this by-election, CM Vishnudev Sai has claimed the victory of BJP and said that Raipur South Assembly has continuously belonged to the BJP party. Brijmohan Aggarwal has been an MLA. Won the 2023 assembly elections by more than 65 thousand votes. Now former MP Sunil Soni will win from there in the by-election. On Congress candidates not getting tickets, CM Sai said that it is their matter, we are working considering the opposition as strong.
