RDA became debt free, had taken a loan of Rs 600 crore for the development of Kaushalya Mata Vihar

Raipur. Raipur Development Authority (RDA) had taken a total loan of Rs 600 crore from Central Bank of India, Branch Sadar Bazar, Raipur for the development of Kaushalya Mata Vihar. Raipur Development Authority has paid this entire loan amount to the Central Bank of India.

Chhattisgarh Government’s Housing and Environment Secretary Mahadev Kanve today handed over Rs 4 crore 45 thousand to Chief Manager Recovery Rajeev Singh and Senior Manager Vimal Nair of Central Bank of India branch Sadar Bazar Raipur as the last installment of loan taken by Raipur Development Authority. Handed over a check of Rs 147. With this, the entire loan amount has been paid to the concerned bank. On this occasion, Chief Executive Officer of Raipur Development Authority Dharmesh Kumar Sahu and officers and employees of the authority were present.

According to the information received from Raipur Development Authority, out of the total loan amount taken from the Central Bank, Raipur Development Authority has become free from debt by paying the outstanding loan amount of Rs 334 crore in the last one and a half year. At present there is no outstanding loan of any kind from any bank on RDA. Earlier, on December 28, 2023, a check of Rs 20 crore was given by the authority to Central Bank of India, branch Sadar Bazar Raipur.

It is noteworthy that a total of 16 sectors have been developed under Kaushalya Mata Vihar, in which residential plots and commercial plots were developed. About 153 pieces of land are reserved for garden development in Kaushalya Mata Vihar, whose area is about 98 acres.
