Following reports of three people drowning at the Deori picnic spot yesterday evening, a rescue operation is currently ongoing. One fatality has been confirmed, with a body having been recovered from the site. The local administration is managing the search efforts for the other two missing individuals. A team of divers is actively involved in the search, supported by local fishermen and boat operators who are assisting in the operation. The administration is utilizing drone cameras to monitor the water’s surface and adjacent areas to gain a better understanding of where the missing individuals might have drifted or become trapped. An SDRF team from Bilaspur is also on its way to provide additional support. Administrative officials have stated that all necessary resources are being utilized, and they are prepared for any contingency. The rescue team is continuously updating its efforts and keeping a close watch on the situation.
