Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars have initiated a three-day strike impacting the functioning of tehsil offices. The action, led by the Junior Administrative Service Association, is a result of unaddressed demands. The association had previously submitted a memorandum outlining their grievances, which include resource allocation, staffing, and infrastructure. The strike will see a complete halt in tehsil-level operations, including critical services like registrations. Protests will take place at district, divisional, and state levels on July 28th, 29th, and 30th respectively. The striking officials have warned of an indefinite strike if their 17-point demands are not met by the end of the three-day period. The government has responded with a directive asking officials not to take leave.
