Mithlesh Gupta, Jashpur. A robbery has taken place in Jashpur district of Chhattisgarh. Masked miscreants entered a grocery shop at gunpoint. During this, the robbers beat up the shopkeeper and fled after looting cash and grocery items. The incident has been captured in CCTV camera. On receiving information about the incident, the police has started investigating. This case is from Lodam police station area.

According to the information, Portenga village of Jashpur is adjacent to Jharkhand border Gumla. Three masked miscreants reached the grocery shop of Portenga resident Narendra Minj located at Lodam Chowki late at night. During this, the accused beat up the shopkeeper at gunpoint and fled from the spot after looting 30 to 40 thousand rupees kept in the cash box and grocery items. After the incident, the victim shopkeeper informed the police about the matter. On receiving information about the incident, Lodam and Jashpur police reached the spot and blocked various places to catch the robbers. At the same time, the police is also taking the help of CCTV footage to catch the robbers.

CCTV footage of the robbery incident has also surfaced. In the video, it can be seen that the accused enter the shop from behind the shopkeeper with a towel tied around his mouth and point a gun at the elderly shopkeeper. After that, the accused push him and make him sit on a chair. Then they beat him up and fled after looting cash and goods. At present, the police is busy investigating the case.
