Security Forces Kill 10 Naxalites and Commander Manoj in Gariaband, Chhattisgarh

An encounter between security forces and Naxalites has been ongoing since Thursday morning in the Gariaband district of Chhattisgarh. The clash is occurring in the forests within the Mainpur police station jurisdiction. Ten Naxalites have been killed in the encounter. A major success for security forces includes the death of Naxal commander Manoj alias Balakrishna alias Bhaskar. Manoj was a member of the Central Committee and carried a reward of one crore rupees.
