Ramkumar Yadav, Ambikapur. A unique theft incident has come to light from village Lamgaon of Raghunathpur Chowki area of Surguja district. Fahimudin, an elderly person living here, being saddened by the theft of his special chicken, reached the SP office and lodged a complaint. Fahimudin has accused his neighbor and village secretary Taj Ahmed of stealing the chicken. Land dispute is being said to be the main reason behind this theft.
Elderly Fahimudin told that the land dispute between him and Taj Ahmed is going on in the court. Due to this rivalry, Taj Ahmed broke the roof of his house and stole his 4 year old special cock. This cock of Fahimudin was special for him, because he had kept it as a vow to perform Sirni Fatiha for his son’s marriage. His dream remained unfulfilled due to the theft of the chicken, due to which he is very sad.
No action taken in police post regarding chicken theft
Fahimuddin had earlier lodged a complaint of chicken theft at Raghunathpur outpost, but disappointed with the lack of action, he has now approached the SP office.
On this matter, Additional Superintendent of Police Amolak Singh Dhillon said that a case is going on in the Civil Court regarding the land dispute between the complainant Fahimuddin and neighbor Taj Ahmed. Due to rivalry, youth Taj Ahmed stole the chicken by breaking the roof of the complainant. Based on the complaint, the police has assured to investigate and take action.
