Raipur is buzzing with excitement as the National Supercross Bike Racing Championship officially commenced with a ceremonial ride by Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai. The event, held at the Budhapara Stadium, is a highlight of the state’s Silver Jubilee Year celebrations. Chief Minister Sai, seen wearing a helmet, took to the track on a motorcycle, much to the delight of the large contingent of youth present. Following his ride, Sai shared a video message on social media, strongly advising all two-wheeler riders to always wear helmets and strictly follow traffic rules. He stressed the collective responsibility to guide the youth’s passion for speed in a safe and regulated manner, stating, ‘Your life is precious.’ The championship, scheduled for November 8-9, is designed to instill discipline, responsibility, and a safety-first culture among young riders. According to Ujjwal Deepak, President of the Chhattisgarh Motor Sports Association, the event aims to be more than just a competition; it’s a platform for promoting responsible passion for motor sports. The establishment of a specially designed safe racing track for the MRF National Supercross Championship 2025 underscores Chhattisgarh’s growing influence in the national motorsports arena and its commitment to safe, thrilling entertainment.
