Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai inaugurated the Tahsildar and Executive Magistrate office in Tapkara, Jashpur district. This event marks the fulfillment of the Chief Minister’s earlier promise to elevate Tapkara to a full tehsil. The new tehsil will serve 33 villages, providing crucial services to farmers, students, and residents. At the ceremony, CM Sai also declared Tapkara would become a Nagar Panchayat, allocated Rs. 50 lakh for the Tapkara sports stadium’s renovation, and announced the construction of a rest house in Pharsabahar. The Chief Minister highlighted his government’s commitment to rapidly implementing the ‘Modi ki Guarantee’ for development. He cited the approval of 18 lakh houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and the Mahatari Vandan Yojana, which provides Rs. 1,000 monthly to 70 lakh women. Further, the government is working to increase income for tendu leaf collectors by increasing the support price to Rs. 5,500 per standard bag. The establishment of Atal Digital Seva Kendras aims to bring banking services to villages, starting with implementation in all gram panchayats on Panchayat Diwas. Furthermore, the registration process has been enhanced through digital innovations to provide citizens with a more transparent and efficient system. Collector Rohit Vyas acknowledged the benefits of the new tehsil for local residents. MLA Gomti Sai lauded the developmental strides made under Chief Minister Sai’s leadership, emphasizing the government’s dedication to serving the public.
