Authorities have successfully rescued four underage girls who went missing from Durg district after a visit to Raipur’s Mahadev Ghat. After the girls disappeared, the families reported the matter to the police. An investigation was launched, headed by CSP Satyaprakash Tiwari. The police discovered that the girls had boarded a train to Mumbai. Further investigation revealed that the girls had connected with a man on Instagram, who pretended to be from Mumbai. This individual had allegedly enticed them with offers of travel and a chance to become film stars. Working with Nagpur police, the authorities located and rescued the girls at the Nagpur railway station. They are now being brought back to Durg. The police are aiming to uncover the full scope of the man’s actions and potential accomplices and urging parents to keep an eye on their children’s social media usage. The investigation is now focused on the Mumbai connection.
