Teenager Exploited: Friend and Mother Involved in Sex Trafficking

A shocking incident of human trafficking has come to light in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. A 16-year-old girl, after running away from home, sought help from her friend. However, the friend, along with her mother, orchestrated the girl’s exploitation. They transported the teenager to Raigarh, where she was held captive, given alcohol against her will, and forced to engage in sex work. The girl faced physical abuse if she resisted. The police have arrested the friend, the mother, and one other individual. The investigation is currently underway.
