A young man has been attacked by a fox and seriously injured in Rajiv Nagar of Darri police station area. The treatment of the injured is continuing in the hospital. So far, foxes have attacked 17 people in three districts.
According to the information received, laborer Manoj Matware (35 years), resident of Rajiv Nagar of Darri area of Korba, was working in the nursery outside his house. At the same time a fox attacked him. The struggle between Manoj and the fox continued for about 10 minutes, during which some youths saved his life after hearing his screams. He suffered serious injuries on his face and hands in this attack. In the attack, the fox also tore off part of his nose. Manoj, who was seriously injured in the attack, was immediately admitted to the hospital, where his treatment is going on.
For the last few days, a fox has been roaming in the nursery of the colony from the forest, due to which there is panic among the local people. Already 16 people have been injured in fox attacks in Bilaspur and Mungeli, and now the 17th case has come to light in Korba.
However, despite this serious situation, the Forest Department still seems to be oblivious and no concrete steps have been taken for the safety of the people.
