Bhilai MLA Devendra Yadav said that the information given by the health minister was not correct and asked to improve the system. Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal told the MLA not to do politics on the death and said that the government is improving the system, which has reduced the number of deaths. Earlier, BJP MLA Motilal Sahu raised the issue through attention motion in the assembly and talked about the outbreak of malaria and diarrhea in many districts of the state. Minister Shyambihari Jaiswal said that continuous investigation is being done in all the districts. The minister said that malaria is under control in Bastar division. The reason for the death of two children is being brought to the hospital late. Along with this, mosquito nets are being distributed continuously. There is also adequate availability of medicines.

Motilal Sahu said that the previous government did not make the payment, so the medicines are not being supplied. The minister clarified that the supply of medicines has not been stopped due to non-payment anywhere. Sufficient supply of medicines and test kits has been made. The department’s team is reaching remote villages in Bastar by boat and conducting tests, there is no shortage anywhere, more tests have been done than the previous government.

BJP MLA Dharamjit Singh has suggested that instructions should be given to the higher officials of the district as well as the lower level employees. Information about malaria victims should reach the health department on time. The Health Minister said that they are working in coordination with 6 departments.

Kota MLA Atal Srivastava said that two people have died of malaria in my constituency. I had requested the minister to set up a camp around Belgahna. But the camp has not been set up yet. The necessary preparations in the interior areas should be completed. The Health Minister said that a team had gone to the affected area. 385 patients were admitted around Kota, but no one has died of malaria.

Akaltara MLA Raghavendra Singh said that the number of dengue-malaria patients has increased in my constituency. Some people have also died. Adequate arrangements should be made in hospitals. The Health Minister says that no one has died of diarrhea in Janjgir district. Whatever shortcomings in the arrangements will be removed.

Bhilai Nagar MLA Devendra Singh Yadav said that the Health Minister is not giving the correct information. Many people have died of malaria and diarrhea in Bilaspur, Kawardha, Bijapur. In such a situation, I am demanding to improve the system. The Health Minister said that the opposition members should not do politics on death. Dozens of people have died of malaria every year in the Congress government. We are making the arrangements better and better in the Congress government, and the situation has reduced.
