The then SDM and the present Additional Collector are accused of diverting the canal land, complaint to the Collector… Complainant claims – the deal was done for Rs 5 lakh

Raipur. Pratik Chauhan. The then SDM and the present Additional Collector have been accused of diverting the canal land by taking Rs 5 lakh. This allegation has been made against Korea Additional Collector Ankita Som and a complainant named Sikandar Khan has complained about this to the Collector today. The Collector has also said that action will be taken on the basis of the complaint and the report after investigation in this matter.

In this case, Lalluram took the side of Additional Collector Ankita Som, she said that someone had complained about this matter earlier, after which an investigation committee was formed. But till now the team formed by the collector has not taken his side in this matter and he has denied the diversion of any government land. He has also denied the allegations like taking 5 lakh rupees. Let us tell you that this whole matter is about the land located in Kanchanpur of Korea, whose Khasra number is 331/2.

The complainant claims that the farmer has already taken compensation for the Mej project in 1993. After which this land became government land. The complainant has demanded the Korea Collector to investigate the entire matter and take action. Sources have claimed that construction has started at the place where diversion has been done. But calling it illegal, its pillars were demolished and a notice was also issued to it.

The complaint letter that Lalluram has is of the complaint made on 17 September 2024. Whereas according to the Additional Collector, a complaint in this matter has been made a few months ago and an investigation committee was also formed in this matter.

But the question is that if an investigation committee was formed, what action has been taken in this case till now and why did the said team not take the side of the current Additional Collector Ankita Som in this matter? In this case, the Water Resources Department has also confirmed the acquisition of the canal land in a conversation with the media and the department has also issued a notice to the people who have encroached and has said to give full information of this matter to the Collector.
