Ashutosh Tiwari, Jagdalpur. Bastar Police has arrested two accused from Khargone district of Madhya Pradesh in the case of theft in three car showrooms of the city. According to the police, a gang of seven people had targeted car showrooms using Google Maps on the night of 23 September. The gang had committed theft worth about Rs 8 lakh in Maruti Suzuki, Toyota and Mahindra showroom located on Geedam Road. The thieves had taken away two safes.

Police started investigation on the basis of CCTV footage and method of theft. This gang had also carried out a similar theft incident in Raigarh. So far, two of the seven accused of theft have been arrested, identified as Ajay Chauhan and Rohit Rathore. Police is searching for the remaining accused.
