Raipur. BJP and Congress have worked hard to corner each other regarding liquor ban in the state. Even Congress had announced prohibition, but could not keep its promise. Now once again the demand for prohibition is rising. This demand has been made by none other than former Home Minister Nankiram Kawar to Chief Minister Sai.
Former Home Minister Nankiram Kawar said, drug prohibition should be done for the tribal society. If the government doesn’t agree then I can’t do it alone. I have given up alcohol since class 5. There are some people who would be in favor of prohibition. If not unanimously, then it should be done with everyone’s consent. If this society bans drug abuse then no one will push this tribal society back.
Further requesting CM Sai, he said, our chief should ban drug addiction for the tribals. Should be done for the tribes. Former CM had announced prohibition. We couldn’t. Congress used to sell liquor, now it has also come in the paper that how many people are going to jail.
