Thieves robbed the house of SECL CMO, stole goods worth 24 lakhs including cash and gold and silver jewellery…

Manoj Yadav, Korba. Thieves stole cash and other valuables worth lakhs from the house of CMO of SECL in Kusmunda area of ​​Korba district of Chhattisgarh. This big theft has created panic in the area. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot with the dog squad. All the activities of the thieves are captured in the CCTV installed at the house, on the basis of which the police has started searching for the thieves.

Let us tell you, this theft incident took place in C 5 residence of Arvind Kumar, Chief Officer of SECL Kusmunda Medical Department, located in Vikas Nagar Officer Colony under Kusmunda area. On receiving the complaint, Kusmunda police station reached the spot with the police team. Dog squad and forensic team were also called to investigate the incident.

The house owner and SECL CMO Arvind told that he and his wife had gone out for some work, when they returned late at night and opened the lock and entered inside, all the stuff was scattered. They entered inside through the back door and informed the police about it.

When the police checked the CCTV camera recording, it was found that the gang of thieves entered the house by jumping over the back wall and stole a large amount of gold and silver jewellery and cash kept in the cupboard. No one was at home when this incident happened. Taking advantage of the solitude, the thieves carried out the incident with great ease.

Jewellery and cash were kept for daughter’s marriage

SECL CMO Arvind told that he has a daughter who works outside. Her marriage was going to take place after a few days, for which he had kept gold and silver jewellery and cash in the cupboard, which the thieves stole.

In this case, Kusmunda police station in-charge Rupak Sharma said that on receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot and investigation proceedings have been started. The thieves are being searched on the basis of CCTV footage.
