The University Grants Commission (UGC) has taken action against 54 private universities for failing to comply with information disclosure mandates. These universities, located in multiple states, were required to share specific details with the UGC and display them on their websites as per the UGC Act, 1956. The list includes three universities from Chhattisgarh: Anjanya University in Raipur, Dev Sanskriti University in Sankara Kumhari, and Maharishi Management and Technology University in Bilaspur.
