Villagers’ Trust Poured into Good Governance Fair Camp

More than 400 applications received, many problems resolved on the spot
Beneficiaries received the benefits of various government schemes
Raipur, May 18, 2026/
A joint camp of 12 Gram Panchayats was organized under the Good Governance Fair in Matenar Gram Panchayat of Dantewada district. A large number of villagers reached the camp and submitted applications related to various government schemes and facilities. More than 400 applications were received in the camp, out of which many cases were resolved on the spot, providing relief to the people.
District Panchayat member Smt. Kamala Vinay Nag, Janpad member Smt. Santani Thakur, along with public representatives, Sarpanch, Deputy Sarpanch, Panchs, and a large number of villagers were present in the camp.
This camp, organized with the objective of providing services of various departments to the villagers at one place, provided benefits of several important schemes. 11 farmers were given Kisan Credit Cards by the Agriculture Department. 6 beneficiaries were provided with birth certificates.
In addition, the process of Aadhaar card correction, new Aadhaar card creation, Aadhaar linking for Matari Vandan Yojana, income certificates, caste certificates, and residence certificates was also completed in the camp.
The villagers expressed happiness over the quick resolution and availability of services from various departments at one place in the camp. They said that such camps are proving to be very beneficial for the people of remote areas, as they no longer have to visit government offices for small tasks.
These camps organized under the Good Governance Fair are proving to be effective initiatives in ensuring that the benefits of government schemes reach the last person and that the problems of common people are resolved quickly.
