Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai declared a financial commitment of ₹75 lakh to facilitate the construction of domes across five sites for the Dhurwa community in Chhattisgarh. Each dome will be built at a cost of ₹15 lakh. Furthermore, Sai promised to review and approve proposals from 36 Dhurwa community sarpanches aimed at village development. The announcement took place at the Nuakhai Milan ceremony and the inauguration of the ‘Olek’ community hall in Jagdalpur. Sai stated the state government’s dedication to the comprehensive progress of tribal communities. He referenced the ‘Dharti Aba Gram Utkarsh Yojana’ initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to prevent any financial constraints in the development of tribal villages. A budget of ₹80,000 crore has been allocated for this scheme. The Prime Minister Janman Yojana is also underway to integrate PVTGs into the mainstream of development.
